i want your psycho, your vertigo stick

i ordered tickets to go see Hey Monday, The Ting Tings, Cobra Starship, and Boys Like Girls! i've wanted to see Cobra for about two years, and recently i started to really like Boys Like Girls so i'm pretty excited. i think this makes up for not being able to see Lady GaGa again since the tickets for her sold out in less than two minutes. i just wish the tickets weren't $50 after fees. seriously, there's no need for $35 tickets to become $50 tickets, that's just ridiculous. but at least it's worth it, i suppose.

me and my parents went to Halloween Horror Nights a few weeks ago, that was really fun! i actually wanted to go again, i had so much fun. i think my favorite house was the Wolfman one, or the Frankenstein house. favorite scare zone was definitely the Cirque Du Freak one...in the War of the Living Dead scare zone, i bumped my head on someone and looked up to apologize and there's a freaking zombie! i thought i was going to have a heart attack , i was totally not expecting that. i can't wait to see what they have for next year.

the other night me and my parents went on this haunted carriage ride thing at Disney. it was at the Fort Wilderness Resort, it's Sleepy Hollow themed. i love Sleepy Hollow, it's one of my favorite scary stories so i was happy we got to do that.

Epcot!

me and my parents went to Epcot's Food and Wine Festival yesterday, we haven't been to a Disney park in a while so I was pretty excited. first we got Fastpasses to Soarin', since for some reason that one runs out of them first. Then I got a small (6 oz!) container of Edy's Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. after that, my mom wanted some cheddar cheese soup from Canada, so while she was getting that, I went to this area at the entrance to an attraction so I could finish my ice cream, it was mostly people-free and it had a waterfall. we decided to go the opposite direction, I don't remember everything I had but I do remember the baked ziti from Italy. mostly because of the tall, hot Italian guy that took our order! and the cute one that gave us our food. all of us went to Future World and rode some things there, and went back to a couple of countries since we still had time to kill. when we rode Soarin', we got front row which was really cool, but also a little scary since that row goes the highest out of all three, and I forgot just how high it was. after we were off of that, we rode Spaceship Earth and then we left. I'm not sure when we'll go back to the parks, but hopefully we go to Magic Kingdom for the Mickey's Christmas Party.

Tomorrow (well, technically today) the three of us are going to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, I can't wait, I'm really looking forward to the Dracula, Frankenstein, and Wolfman houses. I wish they would do something with Resident Evil next year though! there's tons of potential, I don't know why they haven't done that as a house yet.

Posted via LiveJournal.app.

the Mitchel Musso concert last week was fun! both opening acts (Jimmy Robbins and KSM) were good, i didn't expect to like KSM because i absolutely hate their cover of "I Want You To Want Me", but most of the other stuff they played was good. what's funny is that at most other concerts, i have trouble seeing the stage unless i'm in the middle but more towards the front. i started off almost at the back, and i didn't have any problems seeing at all! well, except for the smelly guy next to me, but he wasn't there for long. i guess i should go to more concerts with people from Disney :p. and i saw a guy that looked like a younger Zachary Quinto, including the eyebrows. and then a minute later i saw a guy that looked like a longer haired, crater faced version of Chris Pine. it was really weird.

i also saw After Midnight Project, Halestorm, and Chevelle on Thursday. i mostly went for Halestorm, but i've some of Chevelle's stuff before so it was cool seeing them too. wtf was with people trying to start a mosh pit during one of Halestorm's slow songs, though? mosh pits are stupid anyway, but at least do it during a fast song. After Midnight Project were okay, i'd probably like them better if i heard their album. Chevelle were good too of course, but i never realized that their stuff runs together after a few songs.

finally, i saw quite a few local bands Sunday night. i mostly went for Hydrosonic (love them, go check them out!) since they haven't done a show in three months. they were second, the bands before and after them were decent. the headliner though, holy SHIT you guys i have never seen such a batshit crowd before. you know how most mosh pits are smaller circles that are usually off to the side? oh no, not this one. this was just one huge circle in the middle, with about 70% of the crowd slamming right into each other. and then the band themselves...one guy had dreads to his knees, and the keyboardists apparently decided taking grinders to their keyboards to make sparks was a cool idea. actually, it was pretty cool but that's beside the point.

we went to Disney Quest yesterday, and i saw this SUPER cute French guy. seriously, you should've seen him. he was working at one of the rides, and when me an my mom got off i asked her if i could take him with me.

"and what would you do with him?"
"hehehe-"
*smack*

...she really did set herself up for that though. but she didn't need to hit me after i said i should've asked him "voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?". because i didn't even know him, so i should at least be polite about it, right? ;D

and i don't think i posted this yet, but this is totally my theme song:

<lj-embed id="33" />

i'm going to see Mitchel Musso mid-September at House of Blues! i'm pretty excited, i really like him. and the tickets were only $5, so that makes it even better. and my mom is taking me to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on Friday! i can't wait to see that movie. i think with the last two movies i want to do something fun, like go to the midnight showings at AMC at Downtown Disney. i've always wanted to do those, but have never been able to.

1. Post about something that made you happy today, even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this every day for eight days.

i'm also supposed to tag 8 people, but i don't want anyone to feel ~obligated~ so yeah, if you wanna do this you can

but what made me happy today was watching Wishbone <3 (i never did mention it for some reason, but PBS put it back on TV a couple weeks ago and i shat bricks)

and we die young, faster we run

my birthday weekend was awesome!

on Thursday (not a weekend, but whatever i got stuff so it counts) i got my birthday stuff from Jenn. i got from her:

Tokio Hotel shirt
Team Jacob shirt
Scooby-Doo coloring book
My Little Pony coloring book
Play - Girl's Mind CD

on Friday i had a mini-surprise party at my Grandma's, which included this amazing ice cream Blizzard Oreo cake from Dairy Queen <3. i got a little over $30, and an Ed Hardy wristband (early present from my parents).

on Saturday me, Brooke, and my parents went to Disney! :D i wore a "Sweet 16 Birthday Princess" sash from Friday, all day Saturday. it was awesome. lots of random Cast Members and guests told me happy birthday, it made me happy :)

it was so fun, first we went to MGM. Brooke got freaked out during the Alien section, because she hasn't been there since she was 6 so she didn't really remember it XD. both of us (we seperated from my parents after we got in the park) went to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play Area after that, we were like the only teenagers there, lmao. we walked in this big net area that was like a spiderweb, and got lost in an ant hill XD. then we went to go meet Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc., that was pretty fun. Tower of Terror was pretty busy, so we got Fastpasses for that and rode Rock N Roller Coaster. ToT was fun, it always freaks me out a little so at the part where you move forward, i was like "oooh god". and the guy behind me (pretty sure he worked there) said "oh god!", so yeah we did that back and forth a couple of times XD.

after that we met up with my parents, and went to eat at Caribbean Beach. me and Brooke almost fell asleep on the hammock waiting for my parents to get done eating, lol.

then we went to Epcot, they had the Flower & Garden Festival going on so that was pretty cool. me and Brooke had fun in both Innoventions, waiting for the next House of Tomorrow tour. i wish i could find videos of it, it's pretty awesome. we walked around World Showcase, meeting up with my parents in Japan (we went right to left). i don't remember why we seperated again, but when we did me and Brooke got on Test Track...i didn't realize how cool the outside part of it was at night! the last thing we did was go on Spaceship Earth, in which me and Brooke probably ruined someone's ride experience. it was just us two in the car, and i think the whole little set of vehicles. there were a couple people in the train (idk, i guess that's what you call them) behind and in front of us so we were kind of loud. there's a section of the ride where it's like "in the year blah blah blah, this person invented the printing press", so i said (loudly) "whatever, i can just look it up on the internet!". and right after you go through a tunnel with Matrix-looking green symbols and shit, and i said (again, loudly) "so THIS is what the internet looks like!". then towards the end, we went down a hill backwards, and we were going really slow. the last time Brooke rode it, she got stuck at a part where it was really dark. so i told her "you know, i hope this doesn't break down or anything". before i said this, she was leaning back against her seat. after i said it, she jolted forward and yelled "NO, OKAY, NO. DON'T EVEN SAY THAT. I AM IN A GLASS CASE *makes hand gestures* OF EMOTION". it probably sounds obnoxious, but it was pretty funny at the time.

finally, on Sunday (my actual birthday) me and my mom ate at 1900 Park Avenue at the Grand Floridian Resort, it was a character breakfast :D i got pictures with Alice, Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter (who could not get to my table fast enough!), Tigger, and Pooh. it was so fun. i also got a VonDutch shirt, a Zodiac watch, Ed Hardy bag, and 32 GB iPod Touch from my parents. it was a pretty awesome weekend :D

the Lady GaGa show WAS SO MUCH EFFING FUN.

Cinema Bizarre were the first band up, i was so happy to finally see them live, hopefully they come back (either HOB or Club Firestone since CF allows cameras) to Orlando sometime this year. they played After the Rain, Escape to the Stars, Dysfunctional Family, and Lovesongs (They Kill Me). they were fantastic! i just wish i could've been closer.

next was Chester French, before this i'd only heard one song of theirs but i liked it. they were pretty good, i'll definitely have to get their CD next chance i get, they have kind of a 60s feel to them...plus they're both pretty cute :) they also did a pretty good cover of No Doubt's Hella Good.

after them White Tie Affair came on...they were so much fun live! i wish videos were up, they did covers of Kanye West's Heartless and Lil' Wayne's (!!!) Got Money, that was really fun. after they finished, they had a curtain over the stage with a projection of Lady GaGa on it, so they could set up her stage.

about 20-25 (agonizing, i might add) minutes after that, they finally dropped the curtain!

they played her opening video, and then she opened up with my two favorites; Paparazzi and LoveGame. honestly, when the intro video started playing i felt like i was going to cry, i love her so much. and if it was possible for me to make the n.n face in real life, i would have. after that i think it went like this:

Beautiful, Dirty, Rich
The Fame
Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)
Money Honey
Poker Face (piano version)
Future Love
Just Dance
Boys Boys Boys
Poker Face (album version)

Starstruck might have been in there somewhere, i know i remember her doing the opening lines a few times. she talked to the crowd every few songs, i loved when she said this:

"it's true, i am a lie. and i kill everyday to make it true."

here are videos of my favorite performances, i didn't take them btw.

<lj-embed id="27" />
<lj-embed id="28" />
<lj-embed id="29" />
<lj-embed id="30" />

<lj-embed id="31" />
<lj-embed id="32" /></lj-embed>

i WAS supposed to do this awhile ago, but i just forgot and got busy, and then for the past few days the computer was at Best Buy for repairs. :(

anyway,
cette_fille07 tagged me, so now i have to talk about 5 topics. and they are...

1. Pokemon

okay, so i haven't watched any of the new Pokemon (i will though), but i love the original series! seriously, most of my childhood was Pokemon and Sailor Moon. i remember i always wished it was real, because i really wanted to be a Pokemon trainer when i was older. no matter how sad about something i was, i would just put in one of my Pokemon tapes and it would cheer me up. and i also sleep with my Mew plushie a lot. it's so damn cute. :)

2. Resident Evil pairings

i swear i'm the only person i know of who is NOT all for Leon/Ada. i mean, yeah, they're okay, but really? i'd waaayyy prefer Leon/Claire. i was a little mad when nothing happened with them during Degeneration. Leon/Ashley is okay too, Luis/Ashley however is freakin' awesome. i wish they'd at least gone somewhere with them. it's my favorite RE pairing out of all of them, with a very close second being Billy/Rebecca. the ending of 0 makes me want to cry :(

3. Lady GaGa

since i started listening to her, i've wanted to be a singer more and more every day. she inspires me and the music i write so much. i don't know what it is about her, but she's just amazing. i love how she's so out there, and i think it's so cool that she wears the same kind of stuff out in public that she wears while performing, and doesn't care what people think about it.

4. Food

i don't even know where to start on food! i like trying foods from different parts of the world, but i don't eat meat, gelatin, or dairy (unless it's baked into something), so that narrows my options. but that's fine, because a lot of the foods i love don't have any of that. there are two foods that i could NOT live without. the first is pasta. i loooove pasta. i could probably eat at Olive Garden (also one of my favorite restuarants) every day. they also have the only salad dressing i've ever liked. i think my favorite is cheese ravioli, i've loved that since i little. the second is french fries. omg. i seriously have no idea why i love french fries so much, but good lord i do. everytime we go to Disney hotel restaurants to eat, almost everything i get has a side of fries (though i learned not to get a flatbread pizza with fries...eugh). i really like other things with potatoes too.

5. Music

there's so much i could say about music, i'll try to not make it too long! music plays such a huge part it in my life...what i love about music is that it can make you feel any emotion. and it can do anything from helping you go to sleep, or help you get through rough spots in your life. and even though it hasn't happened to me, i'm sure there are people who've found someone they love through music. and it's really great when you've found a song that really relates to you because you know that, even though it might seem that way, you're not the only one who feels whatever it is you're feeling. i also think it's so amazing how music can actually change someone's outlook on life...or if they're in a bad state of mind, stop them from harming, or maybe even killing, themselves.
Busch Gardens!

on Saturday i went with Hannah, her mom, and her grandma to Busch Gardens, and it was so much fun! the only other time i was there was for Howl O Scream in 2007.

after we got all the tickets and stuff, the first thing we did was go to Zagora cafe (i think that's what it was called), since we were pretty hungry. then we walked around the gift shops and looked at the animal exhibits until we got to SheiKra.

i was dying to ride SheiKra, i was going to ride it at Howl O Scream, but the line was 90 minutes. Hannah was going to ride with me originally, but she thought it was too soon after she ate. i was like 'okay, i'll just ride it myself!'. her mom gave me a front of the line pass, and when i got up to the loading station, i realized you could sit where you wanted to, so i asked the woman working there which row was the front, and i got in that one. it was pretty short, i only had to wait for the train that had just loaded and the one right behind it (there's only 3 rows to them, so they load two trains at a time). that was THE best roller coaster i've been on so far, i loved it. here's a video of it (not mine) for those who haven't seen it. watch it in HQ. and yes, the holding brake is pretty awesome!

<lj-embed id="23" />
the area to the right of the water is a huge splash zone, since the water trails behind the train. there's actually a picture of it here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SheiKra

after that, me and Hannah went on the Tanganyika Tidal Wave (thankfully her mom brought ponchos) and that was actually pretty boring, except for the scenery and drop.

then we went over to the Congo area, and all of us went on Congo River Rapids, that one was really fun. it's like Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom, or the Popeye ride (don't remember the exact name right now) at Islands of Adventure. we rode it twice, and the second time we thought the people using the squirting machines were going to be nice and not get us wet, but then they sprayed us twice :(

me and Hannah went on Kumba, which was about as fun SheiKra .

(watch in HQ again)

<lj-embed id="24" />

then Hannah's mom gave us two front of the line passes for the Ubanga Banga Bumper Cars. i've never done bumper cars before, and it was really fun. what was really cool was that one guy (who was different than the one i gave the passes to, they're good for one ride only) said that he wasn't "really supposed to this, but here", and gave me back the passes. i thought that was really nice of him.

over in Timbuktu, me and Hannah rode The Phoenix. i had to hold her hand because she was so scared XD

this is another watch in HQ one, and it may start off not bad, but at about 0:45 it starts to pick up and get scarier. even then it may not look scary, but it's the scariest ride i've ever been on.

<lj-embed id="25" />
after that we all ate at the Timbuktu Theatre, and i started to feel pretty sick (80% sure i was going to throw up) so i didn't get a chance to ride Scorpion. but i still really wanted to ride Rhino Rally, so we went to Nairobi and went on that and it actually made me feel a little better, weird as it sounds.

<lj-embed id="26" />
it's a little long, but it's worth it because the ride is pretty cool.

then we took the train back to Stanleyville, and left. it was really fun, and hopefully Brooke can get her mom to get her a fun card so me, her, and Hannah can all go together :)
